Endoscopic Sleeve Gastroplasty (ESG)

What Is Endoscopic Sleeve Gastroplasty (ESG)?
During ESG surgery, a small camera-equipped tube is inserted orally, avoiding external incisions by using the natural pathway of the throat. ESG reduces stomach size by approximately 70% to support weight loss by slowing stomach emptying. This procedure is overall less complex than LSG, offering faster recovery times, and is typically reversible.
